American Gateways opposes the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding Good Cause for a Continuance in Immigration Proceedings, published by the DOJ on November 27, 2020.

American Gateways opposes all aspects of the Proposed Rule that would erode the due process rights of asylum seekers or individuals in immigration proceedings, or otherwise impede—in anyway—the ability of individuals who have suffered persecution to access humanitarian protection in the United States.
