Erika works as a Legal Assistant and performs administrative and operational duties including client intake, translation services, and supporting the Legal Orientation Program. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu at Austin with an associate’s degree in Applied Science (2012) and received a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Management (2013) from The Art Institute at Austin. Prior to joining American Gateways, Erika served in the United States Coast Guard (2000-2009) and was stationed in Florida for four years and then in Texas for five years. As a Yeoman in the military, she was entrusted with personnel records and financial transactions, and served as an official translator for government partners. Erika is from Sullivan City, TX and enjoys cooking, traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and three Yorkie fur-babies. She is fluent in Spanish.
