Blanca started with American Gateways in 2014 as a Legal Assistant and is currently a Legal Orientation Program (LOP) Caseworker. She provides legal orientations and conducts pro se workshops under the LOP for detained immigrants at three adult and family immigrant detention centers in South Texas. Blanca worked with several private immigration law firms, starting in 1999, prior to joining American Gateways. She has over 12 years of experience in legal settings and immigration procedures. Blanca loves the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She is fluent in Spanish.
