Annabel joined American Gateways as a Staff Attorney in 2019.  She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., Government, 2003) and Northwestern School of Law Lewis and Clark College (J.D., 2007). Annabel practiced in both education law and health care law before practicing immigration law.  While volunteering at several pro-bono immigration clinics she realized that she wanted to make a difference in the immigrant community. Seeing the daily struggles of immigrants/refugees and listening to their harrowing stories inspired her to assist them in obtaining status.  Annabel speaks Spanish.  She enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and rescue dog.
