Alicia joined American Gateways as a Staff Attorney in 2020. She is a graduate from Baylor University (B.A. 2016, J.D. 2019) and is licensed to practice law in Texas. During law school Alicia was a student coordinator for the Baylor Law Immigration Clinic and completed internships with Catholic Charities in Houston and a private practice immigration attorney in Waco. As the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants, Alicia’s passion for helping the immigrant community is rooted in her family’s history. Alicia is an Oklahoma native and has called Waco home since 2013. Alicia is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
