Alejandrina worked at American Gateways as a Staff Attorney from 2016-2019 and returned in early 2024. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., cum laude, 2010) and Southern Methodist University (J.D. 2014). Alejandrina has always had a passion for helping others. In law school, she interned at Catholic Charities of Dallas and Mosaic Family Services assisting families with their immigration cases. She also worked as a student attorney for the W.W. Caruth Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic, where she served as a guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem for abused and neglected children. Alejandrina enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and working on home decorating projects. She is fluent in Spanish.
