Alejandra joined America Gateways in September 2022. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico and came to the US in 2001 at the age of 14. She attended high school in San Antonio graduated in 2006. Being a daughter of immigrant parents and an immigrant herself, she discovered her interest in helping others after she attended one of American Gateways Citizenship Clinics to become naturalized. She is fluent in English and Spanish which she hopes will allow her to communicate better and have the opportunity to serve more people that come to our organization. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her husband and 7yr old son.
