Daniela Guerrero joined American Gateways in 2022 as a Program Support Specialist for the development team. She has experience in grant writing, marketing & communications, and social impact assessments in non-profits and consulting firms. Daniela was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Communications. Before moving to Austin, Daniela lived in Mexico, where she worked developing proposals for new initiatives for donors and writing grants for a non-profit focused on education. She also worked in Nicaragua researching social enterprises and supporting the impact investment strategy of a non-profit that worked with local artisans. Daniela holds a master's in Public Administration from Northeastern University. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, dancing, and outdoor activities.
